SUMMER PROGRAMS The New York Rollin' Knicks invite you to participate in a FREE Open Gym for all wheelchair basketball players at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, August 12th. Due to a conflict in my schedule, I have to change the time for the Open Gym at MSG on Sat 8/12. The NEW time is 11am to 3pm. The old time was 1pm to 4pm. For those of you who drive and don't have a NYCPPD permit, we can arrange for you to park in an indoor garage on 33rd between 8th and 9th at a cost of only $15, if you don't believe you will be able to find parking on the street. You must reserve in advance. Please be aware that New York City does not honor any other disabled placard/permit (even the New York State permit) and the average parking ticket is $115. Please enter MSG through our employee's entrance at 8 Penn, which is located on 33rd Street closer to 8th Avenue. You will see a green awning with the #8 on it. A representative will be there to meet you and escort you to the Arena court on the 5th floor. For more info contact: David Snowden.

COMMISSIONER’S REPORT as of 6/05/2006 Commissioner Zangari announced a letter was turned in tonight by Bob Cugini (LIE Delegate) stating that Long Island Express has folded. Regrets were extended. Two players have transferred and Commissioner Zangari asked that the transfers stay on a local level and reminded them that there’s an August 1st deadline.  He would like Roosters to be in 1 – 2 weeks prior to the September 1st deadline.  If Transfer or Rooster forms are needed you can obtain them online or from him.  Rooster forms must be filled out completely.  President Cimino asked that each team be given the forms just in case. Commissioner Zangari will forward Bob’s letter to Dickey Bryant.  Bobby is still welcome to stay with us.

EWBC ELECTIONS as of 6/05/2006 Elections held for Secretary: Jeanine Prysock-Gonzalez was the only one who inquired. Proposed - Bob Cugini; Second – David Snowden, Jr. Jeanine Prysock-Gonzalez is the new Secretary. Elections held for President: Pete stated that he will stay if we wanted him. Proposed – David Snowden, Jr.; Second – Bob Cugini. Pete Cimino will remain President. Vice President position needs to be filled for one more year – no interests taken. Explained what the position in tales: Running the meeting when the President is absent; Representation at conferences or other events.
